Assessment

Students will study the ordinary A Level Maths course in year 12 and the Further Maths course in year 13. AS and A2 units have a 40% and 60% weighting respectively. AS Level Units. These carry a 40% weighting of the final A2 award. Unit 1. Further Pure Mathematics A (13 1/3%) Unit 2. Further Statistics A (13 1/3%) Unit 3. Further Mechanics A (13 1/3%) A2 Level Units These carry a 60% weighting of the final A2 award. Unit 4. Further Pure Mathematics B (35%) And either Unit 5. Further Statistics B (25%) Or Unit 6. Further Mechanics B (25%)
