The Enrichment Department supports pupils facing barriers to learning and helps them develop strategies for full curriculum access.

Biology, Physics and Chemistry each achieved a 100% GCSE pass rate in 2025.

The 2025 cohort achieved a 95% overall GCSE pass rate, up from 85% in 2024 and above the 67% national average.

“As a year group, the cohort produced an outstanding overall pass rate (grades 4 – 9 inclusive) of 95%, which comfortably exceeds last year’s 85% and is well in excess of the national average of 67%.”

In 2025, 48% of GCSE grades were grades 7–9, compared with 22% both in 2024 and nationally.

“Perhaps even more remarkable though is the fantastic number of top grades awarded to our students, with some 48% of grades awarded at grades 7 – 9 inclusive (the old A\* and A grades for those of us that can remember that far back!).
