Mrs Clarke is the school's Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.

“My name is Mrs Clarke, and I am the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator at St Simon’s.”

The school provides downloadable home-support activities for children with special educational needs, including speech and language and motor-skills activities.

“In this section there are some additional support materials for children with special educational needs. For example, Speech and Language or Motor Skills activities. We want to ensure that the children are supported.”

The school states that safeguarding children is everyone's responsibility and that it takes safeguarding very seriously.

Mrs Crisp, the Headteacher, is the safeguarding lead, with Deputy Headteacher Mrs Clarke handling issues in her absence.

“Our Safeguarding lead is Mrs Crisp (Headteacher). In her absence, any issues can be raised and dealt with by Mrs Clarke (Deputy Headteacher).”

The school states that it is fully inclusive and strives for high teaching and learning standards.
