All students at Elms Bank have a Statement of Special Educational Needs, a special school for ages 11-19

Admission is EHCP-based; children residing in Bury are eligible if they have an Education, Health and Care Plan, and pupils are referred by the local authority.

Post-16 (Key Stage 5) students transition to a dedicated College Hub Provision at a separate site
