The Henry Box School

The school provides for a wide range of SEND needs across four main areas: communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social/emotional/mental health, and sensory/physical needs.

The SENDCo works with teachers to provide training, strategies and guidance for effective teaching of students with SEND, liaising with external agencies.

Each student receives a supportive individual interview with the Sixth Form Team to discuss subject choices.

The Business BTEC Level 3 is described as highly successful.

The school offers a wide variety of clubs across age groups, run by staff, at lunchtimes and after school.

KS5 curriculum is designed to lead to applications for university and apprenticeships.

A Level Pathway requires a minimum of 5 subjects at grade 5, including English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
