Sixth-form classes are relatively small, facilitating support and individual feedback.

DofE combines volunteering, physical activity, skill development and expeditions to build confidence, resilience and independence.

Students receive extracurricular and enrichment opportunities, including trips, activities ranging from STEM to Amnesty International, Year 12 work experience, a yearly careers event, and access to an independent careers adviser.

Students are able to participate in trips and visits both at home and abroad and teachers regularly offer extra-curricular activities ranging from STEM to Amnesty International. The school hosts an annual U18 netball, football and rugby tournament involving sixth forms across three counties.
