Boarders' wellbeing is prioritised through a dedicated pastoral team, an on-site Health Centre and a comprehensive support network.

The two-year IB curriculum covers six subject groups spanning languages, sciences, mathematics, humanities, and the arts.

All sixth-form students at Hockerill study the International Baccalaureate Programme.

Applications for Year 12 entry in 2026 were made online and due by 5 January 2026.

Applicants are invited to an academic meeting about subject choices, while boarding applicants also attend a boarding suitability interview.

Many students will attend leading UK and overseas universities, while others will follow higher-education and career pathways.

All students can use Unifrog for higher-education and apprenticeship applications as well as careers exploration.

Five students achieved three Grade 7s at Higher Level, described as equivalent to three A* grades at A Level.

“There were many other outstanding individual performances across the cohort, with five students achieving three Grade 7s at Higher Level, equivalent to achieving three A\* grades at A Level.”

Six students achieved at least 40 IBDP points.
