Brudenell Primary School

The SENDCO plans, monitors, reviews and evaluates SEND provision and reports to senior leaders and governors.

“All SEND provision is planned by the SENDCO with communication with the SLT. The SENDCO monitors, reviews and evaluates all SEND provision on a regular basis throughout the year and report to the SLT and school governing body on how individual needs are being met and how SEND funding for pupils receiving FFI funding (£6,000+) is being spent.”

The school employs speech and language therapy and child psychotherapy professionals for children requiring additional support.

“Funding may be spent on additional services, for example, the school currently employs a Speech and Language Therapist and a Child Psychotherapist for children who need this additional support.”

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead role is shared and Jill Harland, the Headteacher, is named.
