Applicants are encouraged to explain their own post-16 subject choices and desired learning journey as part of an appeal.
“Where possible, we ask that students complete the Appeal Form themselves, rather than it being completed on their behalf by a parent or guardian. As students make the transition to post-16 education, this is an important opportunity for them to explain, in their own words, why they wish to study particular subjects and for their learning journey to take place at Queen Elizabeth's High School Sixth Form.”
Sixth form
QEHS operates a Sixth Form with an offer-and-acceptance enrolment process through Applicaa.
“To proceed with the enrolment process on Results Day you will need to have received an offer from us and to have accepted it via Applicaa.”
Admissions
Applicants who do not meet the published criteria may appeal by submitting the Sixth Form Appeal Form by midday on 20 August 2026.
“If you do not meet our published admissions criteria but wish to be considered for a place in the Sixth Form, you have the right to appeal the decision. To do this, you must complete our Sixth Form Appeal Form and submit it by 12:00 (midday) on Thursday 20 August 2026.”
Applicants can check their Sixth Form application status and complete enrolment through Applicaa.
“If you have applied for QEHS Sixth Form, you will be able to view your application status on the morning of Results Day by logging onto Applicaa.”
Destinations
Staff provide guidance on UCAS, accepting offers, clearing, and post-results decision-making.
“If you would likeadvice and guidance around UCAS, accepting offers and clearingthen we strongly recommend that you come into school and speak to the staff who will be in the library and ready to advise and help you through your decision-making process.”
