Marriotts School

The school has a dedicated SEND team led by an Assistant Head and Director of SEND and Inclusion.

The SEND department includes two qualified SENCos and several specialist and support roles, including Teaching Assistants.

Pastoral care is student-centred and aims to help students achieve their potential and prepare for their next stage.

The reported Year 13 outcomes include strong high-grade attainment across A Level and vocational qualifications.

The whole-school curriculum extends beyond lessons to assemblies, educational visits, cultural-capital and student-voice sessions, life skills, Humantopia, clubs, and interventions.

Students also entered apprenticeships and vocational destinations including the RAF, nursery work and the Fire Service.

Students progressed to apprenticeships, employment and university; 60% went to university, including Durham, King's College London, York, Bristol, Bath, Sheffield and Manchester.

In 2025, 55% achieved a standard pass (grade 4+) and 38% achieved a strong pass (grade 5+) in both English and maths.
