Students receive tailored mentoring and coaching in small tutor groups and meet their tutors twice each day.

Activities include stock-market trading, aeronautics and flying, electric-car racing, sailing, teaching in Ghana, performance and wilderness adventures.

Embley provides an all-through education continuing to Sixth Form.

“As an all-through school, children can join our Nursery & Pre-School from the age of 2 and continue their education to Sixth Form.”

Sixth Form entry requires at least five GCSEs at grades 9–5, including English and Maths, plus grade 7 in intended A Level subjects or equivalents.

“All Sixth Form candidates are expected to achieve a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 9 to 5, including English and Maths, and at least grade 7 in the A Level subjects to be studied, or equivalent subjects.”

Applicants attend an interview with a Senior Leadership Team member.

A careers adviser and dedicated resource support work experience, UK and international university decisions and applications.

Leavers progress to a broad range of degree subjects, including medicine, veterinary medicine, engineering, computer science, law and the arts.

Most students achieved at least one grade above their baseline, and many achieved two grades above it.
