Extracurricular participation is intended to develop leadership and teamwork while helping students cultivate their talents and ambitions.

Admissions
The school participates in Brighton & Hove’s centrally coordinated in-year admissions scheme, requiring a Common Application Form and a Supplementary Information Form.

Applicants refused a place may appeal to an independent appeal panel; in-year appeals must be heard within 30 school days of being lodged.

Where an application is refused, the school will set out the reason for refusal. For applications for In Year Admissions, appeals must be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. Destinations
Students receive guidance for progression into further education, training, employment or higher education.
