Sixth-form students develop leadership and communication through paired reading with younger pupils at Netherhall and Ewanrigg Junior School.
“I have built on this in sixth form, where I have developed my leadership and communication skills by working closely with not only the younger students at Netherhall School, but also the pupils of Ewanrigg Junior School as a part of the school’s paired reading scheme.”
A Year 12 student completed work experience with two local employers, helping confirm an apprenticeship goal.
