More than 90% of grades in eight named subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Drama and Engineering, were grade 4 or above.

Biology, Drama & Theatre Studies, English Literature, Further Mathematics, Health & Social Care, History, Mathematics, Politics, Religious Studies and Sport each recorded over 60% of grades at A*-B or Distinction and above.

Level 3 Mathematical Studies is offered as an additional enrichment course to eligible students who do not take A-level Mathematics and whose option blocks are compatible.

Conditional decisions are sent in the latter half of the Spring term, and external applicants require a satisfactory reference.

The equal-consideration deadline was 5 February 2026; late applications remain possible, but offers depend on projected availability and earlier applications receive priority.

Applications may still be submitted but any conditional offers will be dependent on projections of available places, including spaces on selected courses. Priority will be given to applications received before the deadline.”

One student secured a degree apprenticeship with Airbus.

“Finally, well done to Alicia Ridyard (Tarporley) who received Distinction\*, A and B grades in her courses, and Oscar Humphreys (Barton) who achieved A\*, A, C and an A in EPQ and will take up a prestigious Degree Apprenticeship with Airbus next year.”

Students secured places at universities including Bath, Birmingham, Cambridge, Cardiff, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Warwick and York.
