The SEND Department includes specialist teachers and several learning-support roles and is led by the SENCo.

Students can participate in subject ambassadorship, the Liturgy group, Student Council and the Student Leadership Team.

Students can complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award through Gold and showcase sporting and musical achievements.

“Students complete the Duke of Edinburgh award through to Gold and showcase their sporting achievements at inter-school fixtures and competitions and our annual sports day. Musical talents are showcased at school concerts and in the community.”

Sixth-form life is presented as inclusive and aspirational.

Students receive Catholic Citizenship education focused on the values of excellent citizenship.

“Students are still offered core PE lessons and access to the school gym as well as a lesson on Catholic Citizenship, discussing and sharing the values necessary to be an excellent citizen.”

The sixth-form curriculum offers many subjects through both A-level and vocational qualifications.
