The school provides a staged learning-support approach across a continuum of SEND needs and provision, extending its commitment to excellence to pupils with special needs and pupils whose difficulties stem from limited English.

“It provides a staged approach to pupils with special educational needs, based on a ‘continuum of needs and a continuum of provision’. Above all, it is designed to ensure that the commitment to excellence which is at the heart of the school’s Mission Statement applies in full measure to pupils with special needs and those whose difficulties arise from an insufficiently developed command of English.”

The school works with other agencies to identify, assess and support students who are suffering harm.
