Learning support assistants provide in-class support tailored to individual needs across all key stages.

PSHE covers emotional and mental health and wellbeing alongside relationships, safety, health and personal finance.

The school identifies itself as a specialist Science and Mathematics college.

A-level students may take an EPQ or Core Maths alongside their three A levels.

Active learning is intended to develop students’ confidence, resilience and independence.

The sixth form offers three pathways: A Level, BTEC Level 3 and CTEC Level 2.

Level 2 students study a Cambridge Technical award in Health and Social Care alongside GCSE English and Maths.

A-level applicants need at least five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including English Language at grade 5, and must meet subject-specific requirements.

The BTEC Level 3 programme requires at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language at grade 4.

Year 13 provision covers UCAS, student finance, apprenticeships and alternatives to further education.
