Course summary

The following units will be studied. Extended Certificate in Sport: · Anatomy and Physiology (Written Exam) · Fitness Training and Programming for Health, Sport and Well Being (Externally Set Task) · Professional Development in The Sports Industry (Internally Assessed) · Practical Sports Performance (Internally Assessed) Students are also eligible to achieve the Certificate in Sport (broadly equivalent to an AS Level) should they decide not to continue with the Extended Certificate in Sport after Year 12. Diploma in Sport: All units for the Extended Certificate plus those below · Sports Leadership (Internally Assessed) · Sports Psychology (Internally Assessed) · Sports Event Organisation (Internally Assessed) · Business in Sport (Externally set task) · Skill Acquisition in Sport (Internally Assessed)
