Studying Psychology provides the opportunity to have a better understanding of a range of key psychological perspectives; covering infamous research studies and encouraging students to analyse and question behaviour. Content includes: - Five main approaches (biological, psychodynamic, positive, behaviourist and cognitive) discussing assumptions, therapy, classical evidence, debate and evaluation - Research methods - Schizophrenia (A Level) - Stress (A Level) - Criminal behaviour (A Level) - Controversies (A Level) Student profile This is a course for those who can easily answer essay questions related to Psychology. Students will need to learn a list of new terms related to Psychology. In Psychology, students will be expected to be organised and able to learn independently. They will also have to revise regularly to ensure the understanding and mastering of previous content. Progression As well as enabling students to progress onto a Psychology degree and pursue jobs in this field, A Level Psychology equips students for careers in: Marketing, HR, Research, Local or Central Government; anything that involves work with or providing services for people.
