Course summary

Sociology is a highly popular subject at both A-level and degree level. You will study the following core themes: socialisation, culture and identity and social differentiation, power and stratification. These themes will run through many areas of social life. In addition, students must understand the central focus of UK society today, with consideration given to the siting of UK society within its globalised context.
