Is this course for me? Yes, if you are interested in how the environment is affecting us all, and have an interest in the world around you and current affairs, a willingness to explore new ideas and an ability to communicate effectively. Geography graduates are among the most employable students today and it is a highly desirable subject for a range of careers. A 9 -5 grade in Geography GCSE and also English GCSE would indicate that this is a course for you. What will I learn? You will: • Gain an understanding of the issues affecting people and the surrounding natural environment • Learn about human interactions: migration, human rights, changing spaces, making places • Learn about our natural environment: coastal landscapes and our Earth’s life support systems • Appreciate a range of contemporary global challenges: disease dilemmas and hazardous earth • Plan and conduct a fieldwork investigation on a 5 day residential trip What could this course lead to?
