Course summary

GCE AS Level - Extended Project Qualification - Exam board AQA. The Extended Project Qualification is a subject that allows students to develop many skills through the undertaking of a self-directed project. The EPQ will develop and extend from one or more of the student’s study areas and/or from an area of personal interest or activity outside their main programme of study. It will be based on a topic chosen by the student and agreed by a supervisor. Students will then produce their own research and extended writing piece for their chosen topic area. The Extended Project Qualification involves some teaching of the necessary skills needed to complete the project but involves extended autonomous work by the student. Students will have a supervisor to help with the development and completion of the project.
