Course summary

Psychology is the science of mind and behaviour. It is a popular subject which is attractive to students because it develops a deeper understanding of social, biological and cultural influences on behaviour. Students who are curious about why people behave the way they do find the subject a rewarding choice and successful students develop good note-taking skills with a willingness to question ideas and contribute to discussions, consolidating their understanding of what can be some quite tricky or subtle ideas.
