Assessment

· A-level Mathematics is assessed by three 2-hour examinations. · There is no coursework option. · In the first year of the A-level, students will study mainly Pure Mathematics and a few concepts from Mechanics and Statistics. This content covers all of the AS Mathematics programme of study. · The second year consists of more Pure Mathematics and a little more Mechanics and Statistics. · The work covered over the two years is the whole content of A-level Mathematics.
