Assessment

Component 1 – 60% Personal Study - Students choose from a range of themes/starting points to develop a personal study which includes a variety of research and practical outcomes, this will include written element of between 1000-3000 words. Component 2 – 40% Externally set task - The exam questions are set by the exam board, chosen in consultation with your tutors. Students choose a starting point to study in detail. The final piece is to be produced in exam conditions and a 15 hour time limit.
