Component 1: Breadth study, with interpretations: Examination 2hrs 15mins, 30% of A Level marks. Component 2 : Depth study: Examination 1 hour 30 minutes exam, 20% of A Level marks. Component 3: Paper 3: Themes in breadth, with aspects in depth (100 years) 2 hours 15 min, 30% of A Level marks. Component 4: Historical Enquiry (Coursework) - 3,000-4,000 words, 20% of A Level marks.
