Course summary

You'll cover pure maths topics including: proof, algebra and functions, coordinate geometry, sequences and series, trigonometry, exponentials and logarithms, differentiation, integration, numerical methods and vectors. You'll also focus on statistics including: statistical sampling, data presentation and interpretation, probability, statistical distributions and statistical hypothesis testing. Mechanics will cover quantities and units in mechanics, kinematics, forces and Newton's laws and moments. Maths skills are in demand across a variety of jobs and sectors.
