Course summary

Students develop practical skills that can be used in modern laboratories and develop an understanding of fundamental scientific principles with a focus on human physiology and genetics. In addition, students also develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attributes essential for successful performance and growth in their working life. Note – students must have grade 5 in English, maths and science due to the nature of the content and skills needed throughout the course.
