Course summary

The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care is a course for students with an interest in the work of the Health and Social Care sectors. Health and Social Care provides an insight into how humans develop over the six key life stages (from birth to death). Within each life stage, students explore the key aspects of development (physical, intellectual, emotional and social development). Students explore how different factors and life events can affect individuals and what jobs in the sector help to provide support.
