Assessment

There are two methods of assessment: Externally set and marked tests: Externally set written papers assess three units of the course for the Extended Certificate course and five units for the Diploma course. Written papers of 1½ hours to 2 hours, which consist of a mixture of short and long answer questions: • Unit 3 and Unit 2 x 1½ hours each • Unit 4 x 2 hours • Unit 6 and Unit 7 x 1½ hours each (Diploma students only) Exams are scheduled in January and May/June of each year Coursework is internally marked and moderated
