Assessment

PAPER 1: Written examination (2 hours and 15 minutes)—30% of the A level grade -Questions will be on physical interactions and processes, and any relevant fieldwork skills. PAPER 2: Written examination (2 hours and 15 minutes)—30% of the A level grade -Questions will be on human interactions and processes, and any relevant fieldwork skills. PAPER 3: Written examination (2 hours and 15 minutes)—20% of the A level grade -Questions will be on any content with links to the three synoptic themes. INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION: Non-examined assessment—20% of the A level grade -The investigation report is internally assessed and externally moderated. The student will produce a written report of 3000-4000 words.
