Assessment

The two year full A Level is made up of two components; the personal investigation and the externally set exam. These are both internally marked and externally moderated by Edexcel. Component 1 - Type of Assessment: Personal investigation; Assessment of selected work produced across year 12 and up to Christmas of Year 13. This includes the written personal study - Weighting 60% Component 2 - Type of Assessment: Externally set exam - Duration is 15 hours - Weighting 40%
