Course summary

Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and behaviour. If you are interested in learning about different types of behaviour and the explanations for these behaviours, Psychology might be for you. It helps us to understand why people behave the way they do and how the brain works. A Level Psychology is designed to give students a basic introduction into the science of Psychology and focuses on using scientific knowledge t help explain the world around us. Within the course, students will get the opportunity to look at the five main areas of modern psychology and carry out their own practical investigations based around these areas.
