Assessment

Assessment is by AQA examination only. There are two 90 minute exams at AS Level, consisting of two papers. Each exam is worth 50% of the AS Level qualification. Successful completion of both exams will provide you with an overall AS grade. The AS exams and grade are separate from A Level and are not transferrable. The exams will take place in June. In order to progress to year two you must achieve at least a grade D at AS Level. At A Level you will take 2 two hour exams. Each exam paper is worth 50% of the A Level qualification. You have to complete all exams to achieve you’re a Level qualification. The exams will take place in June.
