PAPER 1: Written examination (2 hours 30 minutes)—40% of the A level grade •Questions will be a mixture of short answer and written programs from subject content 1 - 4. •Preliminary material including a skeleton program is provided. PAPER 2: Written examination (2 hours 30 minutes)—40% of the A level grade •Questions will be a mixture of short-answer and extended answer from subject content 5-13. •Calculators are not permitted. PAPER 3: Non-exam assessment —20% of the A level grade • Each student will be expected to follow a systematic approach to problem solving while programming or investigating a practical problem.
