Assessment

BTEC Computing is taught over two years. A combination of internal and external assessment is used to determine your final grade. For the internal assessment, you will complete several units of coursework to get your final grade at the end of year 13. You will also sit four exams over the two years. There are a mixture of shorter questions, data response and essay questions. There are 13 units of which 7 are mandatory and 4 are externally assessed • Mandatory content (67%). • External assessment (42%)
