The two year full A Level is made up of two components; the personal investigation and the externally set exam. These are both internally marked and externally moderated by Edexcel. Unit 1: Personal investigation Assessment of selected work produced across year 12 and up to Christmas of Year 13. This includes the written personal study, 60%. Unit 2: Externally set exam, 40%.
