Politics will develop your extended writing skills and will provide an excellent foundation for any chosen subject at degree level. The subject makes an excellent combination with subjects such as History, Sociology, Economics and English. PROGRESSION ROUTES: A qualification in Politics is widely recognised as a pathway to studying for a university degree. It also provides the opportunity to enter a wide range of occupations, including local and national government, law, journalism and the Civil Service.
