Course summary

Geography at A Level includes the study of both physical and human Geography.It covers a variety of geographical issues at a range of scales, and it allows for indepth study of new topics, as well as ones covered at GCSE.3 units comprising topics such as Tectonic Hazards; Disease Dilemmas, Place and Space, Ecosystems, Dryland environments, Migration and Global Trade and Geopolitics.There is also an independent investigation which is worth 20% of the final grade. This is based on fieldwork conducted at the end of Yr 12.
