Assessment

PAPER 1: Written examination (1 hour 30 minutes)—25% of the A level grade -Essay questions will be on the reign of Henry VII and Henry VIII and on source analysis on the reigns of Edward VI and Mary I. PAPER 2: Written examination (1 hour)—15% of the A level grade - Essay questions will be on all content. PAPER 3: Written examination (2 hours 30 minutes)—40% of the A level grade - Essay questions will be on all content and interpretations on one of the depth studies listed above. TOPIC BASED ESSAY: Extended Essay—20% of the A level grade.
