Assessment
The assessment units for AS are: Unit 1 – Writing, Listening and Reading Paper: 45% of the mark for AS Unit 2 – Writing: 25 % of final mark for AS A translation exercise into French followed by an essay about a French movie. Unit 3 – The Speaking Test: 30% of the mark for AS Discussion on two sub-themes. The discussion is based on a stimulus card for each subtheme. (6-7 minutes per card)
