Course summary
6 GCSE 9-5 grades to include Maths at Grade 4+ and English Language and English Literature at Grade 6+. Students with AS or Advanced Geography have access to a wide range of possible career and higher education opportunities. Skills that you develop include collecting analysing and interpreting data, communicating your findings and developing links between different parts of the subject. These skills are in great demand and Geographers are currently amongst the most employable graduates. You will enjoy Geography if you have an interest in and a concern for the environment and current affairs. It attracts those who are interested in finding out about travel, new people, new places, landscapes, local and global events.
