Government and Politics

Course summary

The Politics curriculum aims to focus on the nature and context of the American political and governmental system. Students will acquire a deep subject knowledge based on the institutions and concepts that make Britain the country that it is today. In order to supplement this, students will be challenged with learning a variety of political ideologies that encourage them to deepen their knowledge and understanding of political theory, embellishing their knowledge of political practises with contextual ideological examples and promoting deeper thinking.
