Unit 1: Engineering Principles- Examination (External) Unit 2: Delivery of Engineering Processes Safely as a Team- Internally assessed coursework Unit 3: Engineering Product Design and Manufacture – Internally examined/Externally Assessed Unit 4: Electronic Devices and Circuits – Internally assessed via 3 assignments Each unit is graded Pass (Grade E equivalent), Merit (Grade C equivalent) and Distinction (Grade A equivalent). The mandatory units are externally assessed i.e. pre-release and/or exam. External moderation occurs each year at two points (February and June)
