Course summary

A-Level Maths is not just about learning new mathematical processes and language. It is about learning to think logically, being able to identify incorrect reasoning and using your skills to relate mathematical situations to real world situations. The course is challenging and rewarding and demands a high level of commitment, extra work and practice. The course is challenging but extremely enjoyable and you will be fully supported and encouraged by staff. Students need to have a genuine interest in Maths and be prepared to push themselves in order to succeed.
