Assessment

There are 2 papers which will be sat at the end of the 2 year course. See below for details. Paper 1: What’s assessed Sections 1–8, 14–18 of the subject content How it’s assessed • Written exam: 3 hours • 120 marks • 50% of A Level 9 Questions Three compulsory sections: • Section A has 10 multiple choice questions and several short answer questions. The section is worth 30 marks. • Section B has two structured questions each worth 20 marks. The section is worth 40 marks. • Section C has two extended answer questions each worth 25 marks. The section is worth 50 marks. Paper 2: What’s assessed Sections 1–3, 8–13, 17–18 of the subject content How it’s assessed • Written exam: 3 hours • 120 marks • 50% of A Level
