Study Skills
Course summary
The Extended Project allows learners to study a topic area which extends their learning in their preferred area of study. Learners will select their own project topic which expands their knowledge and understanding of an aspect of their studies, or one that is relevant to their own personal interests - in other words, students are in control of your own learning!. Learners will be assessed on their ability to plan, manage, complete and review their project. The project is developed over a period of approximately 18 months – during this time students will receive timetabled classes that help to develop skills of enquiry, academic research and production, in addition to 1:1 support from the class teacher.
