Course summary

Develop in students a range of practical skills, which enable them to understand and communicate in French. Foster an awareness and understanding of the cultural, social, commercial and political background in French-speaking countries. Instill appropriate study skills, so that students are equipped to further their communicative ability. Allow students to complement their other studies by pursuing selected areas of interest in greater depth and to develop personal, independent responses to them.
