Engineering Pathway B

Course summary

Engineering B - Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Engineering (2 A-Levels equivalent) and either Applied IT or Art and Design (1 A-Level equivalent). This pathway offers you the chance to gain an excellent understanding and experience of Engineering. Over the two years you will develop an understanding of engineering design and how to apply maths and physics in context. Some of the units that you will study include: Engineering Principles Delivery of Engineering Processes Safely as a Team Engineering Product Design and Manufacture Applied Commercial and Quality Principles in Engineering A Specialist Engineering Project A number of other specialist units will also be studied over the two years. This pathway will enable you to continue on to university, degree level apprenticeship or employment within the Engineering field.
