Three written papers, each lasting two hours. Each paper is marked out of 80 and each counts for 33.3% of the A Level. Paper One focuses on microeconomics (Markets and Market Failure) Paper Two on macroeconomics (The National and International Economy) Paper Three a mix of the two (Economic Principles and Issues). Each paper will consist of short written answers and longer essays, and paper three also contains 30 multiple choice questions.
